Ryan Speight
Our founder, Ryan Speight, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Speight Built Custom Homes. With deep roots in Greenville, North Carolina, Ryan’s immersion in real estate and construction began from an early age. Upon earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from East Carolina University, Ryan moved to Raleigh to focus on upscale residential projects. His pursuit of excellence didn’t stop there; he acquired a Master of Business Administration degree from North Carolina State University, enhancing his capacity to innovate and manage at the highest level.
Ryan’s dedication to industry excellence is evidenced by numerous accolades, including gold medals in the Wake County Parade of Homes in high-end price categories and collaborations on high-profile projects such as the 2016 Raleigh HGTV Smart Home and the 2015 Duke-Progress Energy Green Home. Ryan currently sits on the Raleigh Advisory Housing Committee and is a frequent speaker at Builder Panels, discussing market trends and construction techniques. A forward-thinker, he champions energy-efficient practices and smart technology integration, staying ahead of trends in modern housing.
